Batman is one of the most popular heroes created. But some people don’t think Batman should even be known as a superhero. Let’s face it, Batman doesn’t really even have powers. Look at the facts:

Pros

– Batman has amazing gadgets. The Batarang, Grapple gun, Bat-mobile  Tumbler, Bat-Signal, EMP gun, Tranquilizers, Kryptonite ring and Bat-nets.

-He’s just a man in a suit, yet he stops villains  who are so much more powerful.

-Anyone can be him!

Cons

-He isn’t very surprising and he’s kind of predictable.

-His only “powers” are his gadgets.

-The only differences between him and a police officer are what they wear and what they use.

So what do you think? Is Batman a hero? Or is he just a man in a costume? You decide!

Nova aka Richard Rider got his powers when a member of the Nova corps; Rhomann Dey, selected him on Dey’s deathbed and granted him with his powers and gave him the costume of the corps. Richard was a high school student when he was selected and he wasn’t given any instruction on how to use his powers. His powers include: Flight, super-strength and super-speed, he can project beams of energy from his hands, he has partial control over gravity and can open wormholes. Some of his villains are Thanos, Dr Sun and Black Nova.

Hal Jordan, a pilot, became the Green Lantern when he was summoned by a member of the Lantern Corps who had crashed on Earth. The alien gave him a ring and a cosmic lantern. He can use his ring to do pretty much anything but anything yellow that comes into contact with him or his ring energy will do as much damage as it would to anyone normal. His villains include Sinestro, the Qward and the Zamaron.
